Prof. Dr. Ahmet Zeki Işık

Gynecology, Obstetrics and IVF Specialist, Certified Embryologist

Graduated from Hacettepe University Medical Faculty English program as a second top student in 1988.

Completed Ob/Gyn residency training in Dr Zekai Tahir Burak Hospital, which is the largest Ob/Gyn training hospital in Turkey and become a specialist in 1992.

Continued his post doctoral training as a chief fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility-IVF Center of the same hospital between 1993-1996.

Has got training as a research fellow in Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility of Cornell University in New York in 1994 and updated his training in Cornell for two times in 1998 and 2000.

Got all certificates of ART in Turkey including Laboratory, Clinical, and ICSI certificates. Licensed to work in IVF laboratory also.

Became Assoc.Prof Ob/Gyn in 2001 and Professor in 2014.

Has been working in the ART field both in clinic and lab sites for 30 years.
Has written or translated 15 books or book chapters ,and more than 100 manuscripts.

Has been invited as a speaker or chairman to more than 100 national and international scientific meetings and congressses.

His manuscripts has got more than 1400 citations worldwide.

Has been a part of or the chief of the teams in Turkey who have performed Turkey’s first Frozen-Thawed embryo transfer, assisted hatching, blastocyst stage , revitrification oocyte-embryo thaw pregnancies and deliveries.

Born in Ankara, Turkey in 1965.
Married with two daughters and one grand daughter.
Founder/President of Private ART Centers Society in 2006.
President of Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine, 2016-2021.
Currently he is the Director of Izmir Private IVF Clinic (tupbebekuzmani.com) and Medical Director of İzmir Su Hospital IVF Center.
